Summer is here! Get outside with Rip City Fitness.

The sun has returned to Portland – not quite in full effect, but it’s here nonetheless!  For the two to three brief months that we get to enjoy the outdoors unfettered by constant drizzle, it’s essential that we make the most of our time outside.  When considering all of the exercise options surrounding our fair city, physical therapists tend to hone in on those activities that couple the best burn with the most fun. It is from that frame of mind, that we happily introduce you to Ramman Turner and Laney Coyne of Rip City Fitness.  These two awesome personal trainers provide an ongoing boot-camp style workout twice a week at Woodlawn Park, in North Portland.  Every Wednesday evening and Saturday morning, they lead a crew of movement aficionados through an array of functional strength routines, utilizing playground equipment as the stage for their pull-ups, push-ups and other fiendish ideas.
